Travel from Vancouver through the mountains, experience iconic destinations including Golden and Banff, and arrive in Edmonton in time for the start of WCTE 2027.

Rockies Discovery Tour

Extend your WCTE 2027 experience with an unforgettable journey through the Canadian Rockies. Departing from Edmonton, this three-day guided tour travels through Jasper, along the spectacular Icefields Parkway and into Banff before returning through Calgary. Along the way, delegates will experience glacial lakes, mountain scenery, iconic attractions and some of Alberta’s most celebrated destinations.

InnoTech Alberta

Tours Terms & Conditions

i. Tour Registration  

  • Advance registration is required. Space is limited and tour participation is available on a first-come, first-served basis.   

  • Pre- and Post-Conference Tours registration closes 9:00 AM MT on 14 June 2027.  

  • Technical Tour registration closes 9:00 AM MT on 2 August 2027.  

  • Registrations received after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be accepted only if space remains available.  

  • Tours require a minimum number of participants to operate. WCTE27 reserves the right to cancel a tour if minimum registration levels are not met.  

ii. Cancellations & Refunds  

  • All cancellations will strictly follow the below policies.

  • Visa denials and visa processing delays do not qualify for any exception to the conference cancellation and refund policy. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for visa delays or denials.

  • All changes and cancellations must be submitted in writing to wcte2027@mci-agency.com. An administrative service fee of CA$50 per registration will be charged for every registration modification, including name changes.

  • No refunds will be provided for unused tour components, missed departures, late arrivals, or early departures.

      1) Pre- and Post-Conference Tours

  • Cancellations received on or before 9:00 AM MT on 17 May 2027 are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after 9:00 AM MT on 17 May 2027.

      2) Technical Tours

  • Cancellations received on or before 9:00 AM MT on 12 July 2027 are eligible for a 50% refund.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after 9:00 AM MT on 2 August 2027.

iii. Itinerary Changes

  • Tour itineraries, attractions, timings and inclusions are subject to change due to weather, road conditions, operational requirements, attraction availability or other circumstances beyond the control of WCTE27 and its suppliers.

iv. Accessibility

  • Participants should be comfortable travelling by coach for extended periods and walking on uneven terrain, pathways and viewpoints.

  • Some attractions may have limited accessibility. Participants are encouraged to contact the WCTE27 Secretariat regarding specific accessibility requirements before registering.

v. Travel Documents

  • Participants are responsible for ensuring they have all required travel documents, visas and identification necessary to travel in Canada.

vi. Personal Belongings

  • Participants are responsible for their own luggage and personal belongings. WCTE27 and its suppliers are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items during the tour.

vii. Participant Conduct

  • Participants are expected to follow the instructions of tour staff and guides and behave in a respectful manner toward fellow participants, staff and local communities.

viii. Photography

  • Photographs and video may be taken during the tour and used by WCTE for future promotional, marketing, and reporting purposes.
